BTT - Bookmarks

This BTT was timely, I posted about Bookmarks yesterday, so I am just adding.
What items have you ever used as a bookmark? Of course I have used bookmarks, I especially like ones about dance or my horoscope.
What is the most unusual item you’ve ever used or seen used? Most unusual was wrapping paper from a present I loved.
Aren't the pictured bookmarks creatively divine, even though they will leave marks on the pages and that I cannot handle but they are so cute. And don't get me started folding over pages :-0
Yesterday's Post - What Bookmark are you using?
I'm curious, what Bookmark are you using, do you stick to the same one, change, fold over pages :-0 etc.
I currently am reading a hardback so I just use the flap.

  1. Thank you so much for your nice comment, it is always nice to hear those things about my blog. :)

What a beautiful bookmarks you have in that picture. I just noticed that I have a huge box of paperclips in my shelf, I could do something like those by myself. I always by bookmarks from my trips (I have one from NYC, one from Washington D.C, Philadelphia, London, Athens, Stockholm etc.). I use those if I can find them when I am reading. Sometimes I just use a piece of paper or a picture or something to mark the page.

I never fold over pages, I hate it when people do that. It makes me mad. I don't know why, for me it just looks ugly. I don't mind if someone writes something to the book, I do that constantly, but when some folds the page I get furious. :D

  2. I have quite a few bookmarks and I like to rotate them as I start a new book.

  3. Believe it or not, I do not own a book mark. I use whatever is handy...usually an empty envelope or scrap of paper.

  9. those are adorable. I seem to be using a blank page from a notepad in the book I have with me. I know that in the book I accidentally left in hubby's care I was using a promo bookmark.

  12. These are really cute! I sometimes use paperclips but I try not to since they dent and easily rip the pages.

  13. Your bookmarks are lovely, I tend to use the free bookmarks that they give out at the library, or a leather one that My step-dad gave me.

  15. These little book markers are so sweet. I just love them. What a fantastic idea. A paperclip does make a very good marker and I have used them before but none as pretty as these.
